# Introduction

## How it works

1. **Generate a pattern** from a text prompt.
2. **Refine it** with edits, recoloring, cropping or seamless tiling.
3. **Create a product** by choosing a category and its options.
4. **Create a checkout** to order the product.

Long-running calls return a [job](/jobs) that you poll until it finishes.
